Pigafetta Is My Wife - Joe Hall

Pigafetta Is My Wife is at the top of my to-read list. I recently helped out author Joe Hall by snapping a few post-collegiate photos for his book tour.

Long live old school Polaroid

Artist Philippe Roucou keeps the classic Polaroid alive with this artsy scarf.

It's becoming harder to buy inexpensive classic Polaroid film. the new format of the instant film is no longer medium format. I've been scavenging goodwills for the old stuff. every once in a while I get lucky.

New place

Finally all moved into the new place. Great natural lighting. This means taking more photos from the comfort of my own home.

Temporary homes

Prior to May of 2010 there were four white houses on University Street. Purdue University is expecting a new HTM building exactly where I use to sleep/cook/and study for three years. So glad I took this Polaroid image of my old place before it was too late. Still life of a home gutted and uprooted. But it's exciting HTM majors will finally have their own building...

Post BA

Bocce May 2010

Preoccupied lately trying to decide the rest of my life. Unlike some, I have almost limitless options.

Grad school for photo?? Seems very likely.

Just found out that Jeanne Dunning teaches at North Western. I would love to work with her. Her series on the blob is breathtaking. Plus, Evanston is a great little city.

My end goals haven't change much. I just need to figure out how this next year is going to help me get to the place I want to be.

Work in progress

I'm almost finish with my book of Polaroids. I just need to figure out where I'm going to get it published. Any publishing advice out there?
