I'm in the middle of a few projects, but have made very little progress this summer. I have been working hard at my job and have taken awhile to adjust to the terrible hours and the lack of a consistent schedule.
Tomorrow I'll be experimenting with an installation project. I'll post images soon.
I hope to have my Polaroid book finished by the October. I need to get inspired about design elements of the actual book. I the book as well as it's content to be part of the artwork.
I took engagement photos of Bryan and Amanda in Chicago. We were all exhausted from walking around the city all day, but I think some good ones came out. I like this photo because of the sense of comfort I get from the casual placement of hands and legs. The couple is sitting very close together showing they are intimate, but the only touch thighs, suggesting their need for one another does not overshadow their independence. Ultimately, they are a very mature and endearing couple and I'm excited for their union.
